Growing up immersed in world cultures | International Day at Concordia

International Day has always been the most popular holiday for students on the Concordia campus. Every year, we organize International Day to help children better understand the differences in the diversity of the world. 

From music and dance to delicious cuisine the day was a true feast for the senses. Let's follow along with Ms. Steven to review the highlights of CISN International Day!

The event featured cultural performances from different parts of the world. Our music teacher, Karina from Belarus, bring a traditional dance and music to the activities.The children danced to the rhythm and had a lot of fun.

In addition, the International Day will include a variety of cuisines from around the world, such as delicious tapas from Belarus, Ireland, the UK, Brazil, France, Jamaica, China, Canada and the USA.

The food was a reflection of the unique culinary traditions and flavours of each country, and everyone had the chance to taste and savour the dishes.

International Day at Concordia was also an opportunity for people to connect with others from different cultures and learn about their customs and traditions. 

The celebration of diversity and richness at Concordia was a reminder that despite our differences, we can come together to celebrate and appreciate our unique cultural heritages.

International Day at Concordia was a beautiful display of the power of cultural exchange. The event celebrated the diverse music, dance, and cuisine and provided an opportunity for people to connect and engage with others from different cultures. 

In conclusion, the event brought together people from different backgrounds and allowed them to connect, share, and learn from one another.
