That show contain and nourish all the world
Book Fair
During this period, a book fair was set up on campus. Students enjoyed the experience of to browsing, selecting and purchasing their favourite books with friends, whilst also increasing their book collections.
They learned important life skills like how to ask the shop assistant for prices, calculate the total price of the books in their mind, pay in cash and calculate how much change they had left.
Their favourite part of the experience was the opportunity to recommend and discuss their favourite books to their classmates.
Book Character Dress-up
Students and teachers came into the school dressed as their favourite book characters, and shared their favourite books and characters with each other.
3. Door Decoration Competition
The door decorations were the most eye-catching part of the event during Book WeekIn their Art class the students designed illustrations from their favourite storybooks and brought them to life.
The school transformed into a storybook world, full of colour and imagination. The students and teachers voted for their favourite door decoration and the winners received certificates and bookmarks.
4. Free Reading & Book Sharing
After the Book Fair, the students enjoyed a free reading time in the assembly hall. The free reading time created a relaxed reading atmosphere for the children as they gathered together to read together and have fun.
