In addition to the school-based curriculum, Concordia International School Ningbo also encourages students to share what they learn outside of school. This time, our Grade 1 student Tiffany, went to DisneyLand and reported back.
I was fortunate enough to visit the new Zootopia themed world at Shanghai Disneyland over Christmas. It was a fascinating experience where I could meet the characters and experience Zootopia through a thrilling ride and tour of the city. This was truly a memorable holiday for me. Zootopia has also taught me some valuable life lessons which I wanted to share with you.
Zootopia is a magical world where animals of all shapes and sizes live together in harmony. From my perspective, this is not just a delightful adventure but also a valuable lesson which we can all learn something from.
The story follows Judy, a small bunny with big dreams of becoming the first rabbit police officer in Zootopia. I was very inspired by Judy's determination to break stereotypes and prove that anyone can achieve their goals, regardless of their size or species.
One of the first lessons Zootopia taught me is the importance of believing in oneself and not letting others define your capabilities. Judy faces challenges and doubts, but she never gives up. This resilience is a powerful message for us, encouraging us to pursue our dreams with confidence.
The movie also explores the theme of prejudice and stereotypes, teaching us that assumptions based on appearances can be misleading. Through Judy and Nick's friendship, Zootopia encourages us to embrace diversity, understand differences, and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual.
I believe the moral of Zootopia is clear: "Don't judge a book by its cover." Friendships can grow when we look beyond stereotypes. The movie emphasizes the importance of kindness, empathy, and understanding in building a harmonious society.
In conclusion, Zootopia is a heartwarming tale that resonates with all children, offering a blend of excitement, humor, and important life lessons. So, next time you watch Zootopia, I hope you can see the values and meaningful message this movie delivers. Oh, and don’t forget to visit the Zootopia town in Disneyland…
