Requirements

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education from an accredited college or university

2. National or State issued license or certifications

3. At least 3 years' teaching experience in the relevant field.

4. Intercultural competence and the ability to foster collaboration and trust

5. Cheerful and enthusiastic personality, love children, passionate on education
   

Responsibilities

1. Plan lessons on music and music history in accordance with learning objectives

2. Provide direct instruction in the classroom to students

3. Work with parents and teaching assistants in coordinating needs for each student

4. Develop musical talents within students

5. Organize student performances for community & parents

6. Coach students who are taking musical qualifications

7. Showcase student skills

8. Willingness to provide support/instruction in other extra-curricular activities

9. Work closely with grade level teachers to integrate music into the curriculum
   

10. Keep music room a pleasant learning environment

11. Maintain and inventory music room and equipment

12. Organize musical supplies including malleable, project materials and instruments

13. Other duties as assigned
