For an Inspired Future | 香港中文大学（深圳）专家团莅临我校参观指导

In 2021, Mr. Xu Yangsheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering of the United States, and the first president of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), visited our campus.

Mr. Xu expressed the importance of putting forward the concept of International talent cultivation in the new era of "the integration of Chinese and Western societies, the ancient and modern, the arts and sciences." He also pointed out the direction of the school's philosophy, objectives and development. As a high-quality school at Concordia, Mr. Xu wished the students to go out onto the world stage, becoming ambassadors of Chinese Culture.

On August 03, 2023, Mr. Qiu Jianhao, the Chief Principal of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) Basic Education Group, visited our school with a group of experts. Accompanied by all the school leaders, he held a symposium of an in-depth discussion and guidance of the future planning of a successful school.

The expert group of educators from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) visited our teaching classrooms, STEM classrooms, art classrooms, reception hall, art gallery, library, theatre and tennis court. During their visit, the group of educators highly praised the school's teaching space, design, smart campus ecosystem and international campus atmosphere. Through their suggestions and guidance, we hope that Concordia will innovate its characteristics and strive for new breakthroughs in the future. 

During the seminar, our principal introduced the characteristics, plans and philosophy of Concordia, which focuses on a holistic approach to child-centered development to bring out the best in ourselves. Led by this philosophy, the school strengthens quality teachers, enriches special school-based programmes, provides diversified learning experiences, creates quality activities both inside and outside the classroom. Concordia diversifies study experience and multiple pathways for further studies, cultivating students to develop new skills, innovation and talent. 

We reached a consensus on how to explore the mode of cultivating talent, special curriculum construction and the connection between universities, primary and secondary schools. At Concordia, we focus on teacher training and the philosophy of co-education, to create an international school with an independent personality.

Concordia will continue to improve the quality of education and teaching, optimise the cultural environment of the campus and highlight the characteristics of the school.
