TEACHERS FOCUS

At Concordia, K1 is a learning process from 0 to 1. Children in kindergarten for the first time grasp the concept of discipline, learn teamwork, experience the joy of sharing, and will also face more challenges. It's not a easy task for young children to keep quiet during the lessons.

Children in the kindergarten often havea high level of curiosity and a spirit of exploration. They need more interaction and stimulation to maintain their interest.

A major challenge during the lesson is the inability to quickly focus attention!

Let's take a look at how K1's Ms Zhang guides children's behaviour management~

01 CLASSROOM

BEHAVIOR MYTHS

1. Shouting at the Kids

Battle of the loudest voices rather than the teacher trying to manage the class.

2. Sending "bad"

Students Away

This only addresses the surface of the problem and can easily convey the wrong message to the child, such as "I cannot control you," which undermines the authority of the manager.

MANAGEMENT GUIDE

Confrontational Statements

· Remind students about the thing that they' re doing right.

· And encourage others to do it right as well.

Do the Opposite of

What they' re Doing

When children are louds, teachers can use the 'pause method', contrasted with children in the 'quiet position', to praise children who are quiet.
